Glass is a selection of songs written by Kate Marrey during her development as a songwriter and musician; you can think of the album as a "coming-of-age" project. The minimalist instrumentation emphasises the raw emotion of a young woman trying to understand love, pain, anger, and joy.

A west coast child at heart, Kate Marrey was born on Salt Spring Island, BC, home to a large community of artists. Beginning piano lessons at age six, she always made sure music played a large role in both her personal and formal education.
